Growing up in Green River as a family friend of Pearl Biddlecombe Baker and part of the pioneering Ekker clan, Neal gained a unique historical perspective on the Southeastern Utah frontier's early days by listening to the stories told in his community. As a dedicated student of the Outlaw era, Neal developed a deep knowledge of the region, including the area where outlaws once roamed - knowledge that greatly enriches the stories he now shares.
